Dr. Mira Niazov
Dr. Mira Niyazov, now in her 80s, is one of the foremost experts in nutritional therapy, with over 50 years of experience in Western medicine. She began her medical career in a hospital in her hometown in Uzbekistan. Her innovative contributions have been widely recognized, receiving accolades at professional conferences and being featured in prominent medical journals, including *The Lancet* and *Harefuah*.
At the age of 41, after facing her own health challenges, Dr. Niyazov discovered the world of nutritional therapy. While continuing her work as a Western physician, she became captivated by macrobiotics. Driven by a desire for deeper understanding, she pursued studies in Traditional Chinese Medicine and further immersed herself in ancient Chinese philosophy, homeopathy, and particularly ancestral medicine—a practice she was introduced to by her mother, Osnat, who was an exceptional healer despite lacking formal education.
Over the past three years, I have had the privilege of learning from Dr. Niyazov, documenting her vast knowledge through interviews and filming. Her holistic approach, which includes herbal remedies, belly dancing, laughter yoga, and Qigong, reflects her belief in empowering patients to become their own healers. Her precise diagnostics and integrative skills have led to numerous successes in treating complex and rare diseases.
